If you’ve visited the home page, you know that’s my WHY.

I am eager to engage with people who are motivated to liven and lengthen their lives!

What does my fitness membership look like?

This association and this community of movement professionals comprise the sum total of my current fitness membership.

NSCA refers to the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

My membership in the NSCA dates back to 1993 when my graduate studies began.

Over the years, this membership has benefitted me in many ways. The three things I have most taken advantage of include:

  • National conference attendance

  • Multiple association publications

  • Continuing education

FMS refers to Functional Movement Systems.

From my perspective, my involvement with the Functional Movement System community began when I first met one of the founders, Gray Cook, in 1997.

This membership has been beneficial in numerous ways as well. The three things that I’ve cherished the most include:

  • Opportunities to learn directly from Gray and Lee Burton

  • Access to a variety of educational offerings

  • Introduction to other renowned professionals
