In fact, HIMA is the only Magda Institute affiliate in the four-state area and one of only five in the entire United States.

The world-renowned Magda Institute is home to the headquarters of the Magda Institute Association, which is located in Reseda, CA – a suburb of Los Angeles.

As an MI Association affiliate, HIMA delivers the highly coveted curriculum that the Magda Institute has been using to produce high quality martial artists and even higher quality human beings since 1988.

Much of my family and a few of my friends think that I’m certifiably crazy!

Why?

Because I gave up a cushy, secure government job to pursue one of my dreams, the founding of the four-state area’s finest martial arts institute.

If you’re like many people, too many times you let family, friends, and significant others talk you out of chasing your dreams.

You think they have your best interests at heart. They, too, may think they have your best interests at heart.

Let me ask you something.

What do you have if you don’t have dreams?

What purpose do the dreams serve? Pursuing your dreams gives your life REAL purpose!
